Celebrate Pride 2025: League and TFT

It’s our fifth year celebrating Pride and our eighth year sharing our support with in-game Icons, homeguard trails, emotes, and more. And for 2025 we’re as excited as Vi is for a cupcake to come back to Pride after a year full of League, Arcane, TFT, or all of them to celebrate once more! To understand what Riot Games is doing overall and in our other games, be sure to tune into our channels on May 30th for full details! 

But for now, let’s dive into the in-game missions and free content dropping into League and TFT on May 28th and May 30th, respectively! 

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

League is excited to kick off the celebration with Patch 25.11 (May 28th). We’ve got a new, free emote and a mission to help you zoom through your Battle Pass. We’ll also be bringing back your favorite homeguards, emotes, and icons from previous years. Make sure to join in the fun before the event ends in 25.13.

What shines more, Rell’s Pride or her face when she sees Tora? If that question has you stumped, don’t worry—how to get this year’s emote is easier. You’ll be able to immediately acquire the Rainbow Warpaint emote (no mission or Blue Essence required) by simply claiming it with a click during the run of the event.

There will also be a mission to help you advance your Battle Pass, obtainable by joining in the fun with friends.

In addition to the new Rell Emote, we’ve got returning Emotes from Pride ‘22 and ‘23 for you to add a bit of celebration to your emote wheel if you missed them in years past. They’ll be 1 Blue Essence a piece.

Returning Summoner Icons will also activate Pride trails for 25.11 and 25.12. You can pick those Icons up in the shop for 1 Blue Essence for the whole bundle of joy—errr Pride! TEAMFIGHT TACTICS

TFT’s Pride missions start on the same patch as League’s, 25.11, over in TFT we call that Patch 14.5 (meaning the fifth patch of our fourteenth set, Cyber City). The patch brings several missions that activate two days into the patch, and you’ll have until June 30th to complete them! 

TFT also has rewards for players, including the Little Legend Arcade QiQi and a new emote, QiQi Strut, alongside the return of some classic Pride content. We’re not able to add Little Legends to the festivities every year, but for 2025, our team wanted to add something that differs from our past years’ content.

Arcade QiQi and our other Prideful content will be available via the following missions:

Whether you’re strutting your stuff down Cyber City or just getting the new Pride emote to spam on a cold bridge somewhere off in another queue, the only thing QiQi cares about is that you do it in style!

In case you missed them, our Pride Booms return to give more reason to take pride in your victory.

A reminder about our Pride Trails. Last year we changed the way they activate to allow Mobile only players who may never equip icons to use them. Simply equip one of our existing Pride Booms and your Tactician will activate their Pride Trail effect. As a reminder, Pride Trails are active all year on TFT whenever you equip the corresponding Boom.

TFT will also be included in the Twitch Pride Guild’s Double Up tournament on June 22nd, so be sure to catch us then and there!
