FTW is back with the Battle of Two Cities, an EMEA content creator-exclusive challenge for League's updated ARAM map, Bridge of Progress. Starting November 13, we’re hosting an epic two-week-long challenge event for invited creators with huge rewards up for grabs. Every single creator taking part will be able to earn over 100 Hextech and Masterwork Chests to give away to their communities, in addition to Arcane merch and skins depending on their performance in the leaderboards.


The challenge will unfold on FTW, where everyone can keep tabs on the individual leaderboards and jump to creators’ social channels to watch their progress.



EMEA’s Factions

Over 200 brave souls have currently enlisted in EMEA Creator Challenge: ARAM, including several familiar faces from LEC, with more creators expected to join as the challenge unfolds. Main twist this time around is that creators will be fighting for Piltover or Zaun… more details below.



Challenge Details

Similar to previous EMEA creator challenges, the #BattleOfTwoCities consists of multiple objectives within the overall challenge, each with its own distinct leaderboards and rewards to be earned. The ARAM challenge respects skill above all else, ensuring it’s not just about the creator who grinds the most.


Ongoing Objective - Battle of Two Cities

Creators will take a stand and fight for Piltover or Zaun in an epic two-week ARAM challenge. Wrath must be met with wrath. In the Battle of Two Cities, creators will choose a champion that aligns themselves with Piltover or Zaun, and collectively work to unlock rewards for their communities. There are even more rewards for the top five creators by points at the end of the challenge.


  • +1pt Play a game of 20+ minutes

  • +1pt Win a game using Zaun or Piltover champion

    • Piltover: Caitlyn, Camile, Ez, Heime, Jayce, Orianna, Seraphine and Vi

    • Zaun: Viktor, Jinx, Ekko, Janna, Renata Glasc, Warwick, Singed, Twitch

  • +3pts Win a game

  • +3pts Win a game with 40+ takedowns

  • +3pts Win a game with KDA higher than 5.0

FACTION POINTS TIERS:

  • 12,000 Points: 10x Hextech Chest + Key per faction creator

  • 25,000 Points: 10x Masterwork Chest + Key per faction creator

  • 40,000 Points: 20x Hextech Chest + Key per faction creator

  • 60,000 Points: 15x Masterwork Chest + Key per faction creator

  • 85,000 Points: 2x Random Epic Skin* per faction creator


*we’ve created a special bundle of “random” Epic skins themed to this challenge. Within the mix, you’ll find the following skins with equal probabilities of selection: Snow Moon Caitlyn, Star Guardian Ekko, Heimerstinger, Resistance Jayce, Cafe Cuties Jinx, Astronaut Singed, Primal Ambush Vi, High Noon Viktor, Winterblessed Warwick.

  • 3rd Place: 1 x Caitlyn Unlocked Statue, 1 x Vi Arcane Funko, 10 x Masterwork Chest + Keys, 2 x Random Epic Skins (FTW Special)

  • 4th Place: 1 x Arcane Vi & Powder Hoodie, 8 x Masterwork Chest + Keys, 1 x Random Epic Skin (FTW Special)

Event Objectives

Lasting the full length of the ARAM challenge, these objectives offer big opportunities for rewards as well as leaderboard disruption over time. ARAM merch, skins and champions will be offered to the top five creators in each objective.


💮Piltover's Finest: Highest percentage win ratio (i.e 5 wins out of 10 games is 50%) from the games finished in the Piltover side of ARAM games. The minimum number of games to be completed for the score to count is 10 on the Piltover side.

  • Tiebreaker - The highest number of games played will decide which Player comes first.


🕊️The Hope of Zaun: Highest percentage win ratio (i.e 5 wins out of 10 games is 50%) from the games finished in the Zaun side of ARAM games. The minimum number of games to be completed for the score to count is 10 on the Zaun side.

  • Tiebreaker - The highest number of games played will decide which Player comes first.


🏆Kill Streak Champion: Highest score based on total number of Triple, Quadra and Pentakills achieved. Triple = 1 point, Quadra = 2 points, Penta = 3 points.

  • Multikills will have a point system: Receive 1 point for each Triplekill, 2 points for each Quadrakill and 3 points for each Pentakill that the player achieves in any matchmade ARAM game. The highest combined point score wins.

  • Tiebreaker - The highest amount of pentakills across matches will be a factor to determine who is first.


🤓ARAM Specialist: Highest number of matchmade ARAM games won while playing with a unique champion. Every champion can only be counted once. The maximum score is 168.

  • Tiebreaker - The timestamp when the Player achieved the score, the earlier date/time will determine who will be first.


🤫 SECRET: To add a little drama, there is a secret, hidden event objective where you can track the performance of creators, but have no idea what they’re ranking for. It could offer bragging rights, it could be something they wouldn’t be too proud of… we’ll reveal the details once the challenge concludes.



Daily Objectives

Last but not least, EMEA Creator Challenge: ARAM will have a fresh leaderboard every day with a unique objective focused on a specific faction, weapon or in-game statistic. Rewards will be available for the top five creators, with each Daily Objective ending/starting at 04:00 UTC.
