Learn more about the League of Legends Public Beta Environment where we test out upcoming league patches. Sign up for a PBE account to play.
This is a Public Beta Environment
The Public Beta Environment is where we test out upcoming League of Legends patches. As a PBE tester, you'll get to experience the newest champions, skins, and gameplay changes, not to mention new TFT sets for our friends on the Convergence! The PBE is a critical part of the League of Legends release process, ensuring the patches that go live are stable for players around the world. We thank you for your help continuing to develop League of Legends with us for years to come.
As the name suggests, everything in this environment is a work in progress. Content and features may be incomplete, buggy, deactivated, and updated as needed to get them ready for live deploys. What you see here may not represent the final product that'll go live.
Daily Server Maintenance
We're continuously working on the new content and features in testing on PBE. We perform daily server maintenance and patch releases to PBE, generally Monday - Friday between 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Pacific Time).
How can I help with the development process?
Just play! Just signing up and playtesting on the PBE is a good start! Observing regular gameplay on PBE is an important way that we sniff out large-scale issues such as game hitching, crashes, and other performance issues.
Try out new stuff! When you log in you'll notice a special PBE daily mission. Complete this mission to gain 3000 RP specifically for use in the PBE Store. Use this to test out the latest and greatest stuff!
Feedback! Reporting any feedback you have over on the community-run League of Legends PBE Subreddit. Rioters are constantly monitoring and bringing reports back to their teams internally, and we sometimes pop in when we need more information on an issue or feedback post. If you're looking for some friends to test with or want to participate in a live discussion, check out the community-run PBE Discord Server!
*As a quick note, because League's developers are primarily based out of the US, most PBE conversation is held in English.
Stick to the LoL Code of Conduct! PBE has built up a community within itself and although your Ranked games don't count, you are still required to follow the League of Legends Code of Conduct. Be respectful and mindful of others as you check out the latest and greatest skins and champs!
That's all for now! For more information and a broader FAQ about the PBE, visit our PBE Player Support page!
